it's one of those in between weeks when you feel like you're just back to school (because of the natl day holidays), stuck in sch forever (the horror of all the meetings and deadlines) and want to get out of school (because it's week 8!! 2plus weeks more to sept hols!!!)
sadly my weekend was spent in singapore...but i suppose God knows best because i needed the sleep and time to recharge and do my work etc etc. Spent national day squeezing with the crowds for 5-8? minutes of fireworks but it was worth it. seeing the teeming crowd of people all dressed in red did not make me feel more patriotic, but it did give me a warm fuzzy feeling on what it means to be part of humanity. hmm....that made me sound pretty misanthropic. ah well.
and sat's bible study was good, if a bit too concise. wonder if rev G would consent to have his notes posted online...was browsing the library for books on Revelations and it drives home how the end times are coming...so what am I doing about my spiritual state?
shall make use of my time better, this free period is the calm before the storm...must make sure to cling onto Him and not get drowned by all the details.
