when taxi drivers turn bad....

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was at the Yew Tee MRT bus stop facing the taxi stand when I saw an old lady about 5-8m away walking very slowly from the bus stop towards the taxi stand waving her umbrella/walking stick. As she was walking towards the taxi stand, she kept gesturing the taxi driver of SH1623L to drive forward to pick her up, but he did not budge an inch.

A young man walked towards the taxi and wanted to board it, but he saw the old lady as well and opened the front passenger door to inform the taxi driver about her. All this time the lady was PAINFULLY making her way towards the stand. I saw the taxi driver gesture back and the young man got on and the taxi driver drove off, without picking the old lady.

Thankfully there was a cab behind that horrible man who willingly drove up (maybe 1m) and patiently waited for the old lady to get on.

I know there probably won't be anything done but I just wanted to give you feedback; perhaps you could remind your drivers to respect all customers and be more gracious towards the elderly.

Thank you.
