the prodigal daughter

this was a friend's msn nick, and so i took the opportunity to share with her the story of the prodigal son and the father's love for him, and how God loves us the same way even though we reject him and cause him endless grief. May God speak to her heart and please pray that she will come to trust in Him.

despite knowing that it's important to share the gospel, the first step is always difficult. but somehow this week's devotions have been on the theme of the gospel and salvation. like yesterday's daily bread was so appropriate because it talked about "the price of a soul" and i realise that God really does prepare you if you are willing to serve Him. after all we can't just blindly blunder about on our own can we?

So let's continue to pray for one another, and try to fulfill God's commission! And service can come in so many different ways, like praying, making friends with the newcomers in church, going tracting, or even just wanting to let your life be a testimony to others. are we growing in God's word today and serving him actively? for me my goal this week will be to finish learning my 2 piano pieces so that i can actually rehearse on the 24th. Argh!
