On a side note, i've always had the impression that my mom and grandma share the same birthday...which is why i made them pose together with the cake heh...killing 2 birds with 1 stone! i think my grandma has no idea when her birthday is too...it doesn't seem that big a deal for their generation, as most of them lost their id during the war? either that or they only know the chinese date and we don't really celebrate that...come to think about it i don't even know which zodiac sign my ah-por is! shall ask her the next time we meet....

ice cream cake from swensen's courtesy of my brother. it was huge! and cold! but my mom really liked it so that's good...think the fruit on top gave the cake a semblance of healthiness heh.
