has been revolving around baby E! it was great to go for AGAPE fellowship and church over the weekend...although I was really worried that she would be fussy and cry all the way, baby E was an absolute angel and slept through all the noise (after feeding mostly)
Some have asked me what I do at home all day...so here's a schedule of what we've been up to! (timings are approx because her pattern changes EVERYDAY!!!)
7.30 baby E wants to feed. mummy wakes up groggy, puts on mybrestfriend and plonks her down for her meal. after a gd burp (she's really loud when she burps!), baby E is put back into the rocker and goes to sleep. mummy promptly conks out again.
9.30 baby E wakes up! looks around the room, makes a few noises and attracts her ah ma's attention. she gets fussed over and carried a little, then wants to feed again. mummy wakes up and feeds her, then has her own breakfast. sometimes baby E gets to listen to music at this time if she's awake and if she's not, she just goes right back to sleep!
10.30 baby E gets her bath! in the beginning she was afraid of the water and would cry everytime she was placed inside the tub; now she cries when she's taken out...
11.30 feeding time. usually she is knocked out after that and goes to sleep...mummy is once again hungry and eats a yummy lunch courtesy of Ah Ma!
1.30 feeding time again! sleeps for a while and then wakes up and does her air traffic controller routine and squirmy worm act. sometimes (very rarely) she gets up and just stares into space...which makes mommy wonder what exactly she's looking at!
3.30 feeding again. this time mummy is sleepy and takes a short nap and baby E spends her afternoon with her ah ma. usually this coincides with the taiwanese drama yi nan wang and they watch it together!
7.30 feeding time yet again. if daddy is back he will play with baby E! and take lots of photos and videos which he then faithfully uploads to Facebook heh usually she's pretty awake here and we pray that she stays awake so that she can fall asleep at night...
9.30 feed. baby E's eyes slowly close...her daddy and mummy catch up on each other's day then prepares for bedtime...
11.30 feed her. all is quiet in the house. sometimes baby E is SUPER alert here and needs to be carried or rocked and doesn't want to sleep till her next feeding...and sometimes she's an angel and goes to sleep straightaway (which is a miracle)
3.30 feeding time. at the beginning this was the hardest feed for mummy because who gets up at such unearthly hours?!? thank God that he's been gracious and i'm slowly getting used to it!
5plus feeding time...mummy knows that this feed will probably last her till the morning so she promptly conks out!
so yes, that's baby's E schedule and my life pretty much fits in around that. surprisingly when we take her out she's always fast asleep and doesn't need to nurse at such regular hours! maybe she like gallivanting like her mum heh
i only have 10 more weeks left with her; how quickly time flies! may we continue to create more special memories and milestones together as a family!
